Welcome to the RUCC Holy Week Labyrinth experience:
The Labyrinth will be available in the Fellowship Hall during the following days and times:
Wednesday, April 12th: 12pm-8pm
Thursday, April 13th: 12pm-5pm
Friday, April 14th: 12pm-7pm
Saturday, April 15th: 12pm-5pm
The Labyrinth journey has been used for hundreds of years as a walking prayer/meditation. There is no wrong way to use the labyrinth. Picture walking a path that has 36 turns as you make your way to the center. Think of all the things you can let go of every time you turn. It is an amazing walk to the center where you are held in the safety of Love. It is a powerful thing to walk the labyrinth and find yourself at home. You may stay in the center as long as you need. And then you walk out the same path, turning 36 more times as you take on all that you have learned. We have made this experience possible for you to prepare your heart, soul and mind to experience Easter in a new way.
Maundy Thursday, April 13th
6:30 – Dinner
7:00 – Worship
We will gather around tables outside the sanctuary for a simple meal catered by Athens Cafe and worship. We explore the meaning of the last supper and the power of breaking bread in our community. This is a very meaningful service that reminds us of both the sorrow and hope of the week of Jesus’ death. The service will close with an option for foot or hand washing as a way to offer love and service to one another.
Good Friday, April 14th
7pm – Worship
Good Friday will be marked with an evening service of prayer, reading and reflection on the story of Jesus’ journey from the Garden of Gethsemane to the hill of Calvary. We invite you to join us on this important day in the life of Christ and in our journey towards Easter.
Sunday, April 16
8:30am – Easter Morning Breakfast
Freewill offering with all proceeds benefiting our youth ministry program
9:40am – Easter Egg Roll
Kids are invited to chase the hundreds of candy filled eggs that Pastor T. Michael Rock will roll down the hill outside the church. Always fun to watch!!

Sermon Title “How Resurrection Works” – Rev. T. Michael Rock
Easter is all about potential and possibility. Are we open to change and grow? Are we open to resurrection possibility for our lives? Are we ready for miracles and hope? Are we ready for the light?
